Elisabeth Frater is a wine, food and travel writer. Formerly the wine columnist for the Washington, D.C. publication Legal Times, and a restaurant reviewer for AOL/Digital City she has also written articles for Wine Enthusiast, Wines and Vines, the Napa Valley Register and the Washingtonian, and Napa Valley Marketplace Magazine. She has tasted and written about wines from around the world, and has served as a wine judge. Elisabeth is the author of Breaking Away to Virginia and Maryland Wineries published by Capital Books.
